“Communication” or “Sharing” in Philemon 1:6 & Hebrews 13:16?

"That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus." (Philemon 1:6, KJV)

"But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." (Hebrews 13:16, KJV)

Κοινωνία (Koinonia) means “sharing” in the broadest sense, but in these passages the meaning is narrowed to mean “communication” (Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon). The context in these passages indicates a sharing of discourse, which is communication. Philemon 1:6 is about sharing the faith (evangelism) and Hebrews 13:16 is about sharing the “sacrifice of praise.”
